  I would not suggest staying at this hotel. Although you will save money booking the trip, you will more than make up for it in cab fare. * Dhm just to get to the hotel from the airport and at least * Dhm to any "must see" attraction in Dubai. The staff was OK. They did not have any travel adaptors at the front desk, so make sure to bring a UK 3 prong. The continental breakfest was hardly a breakfest at all. All they had was bread, cheese, 3 kinds of cereal, coffee and milk. I had them launder clothes which were returned 25hours later when it should have been 8 hours, and they were not washed, yet they tried billing me for it. The staff was very good in straighting out the situation, but it did cause me to be late getting to the airport. Overall, you get what you pay for. If I had to do it again I would avoid the media, internet cities all togather. For what I paid in cab fare I could have had a 5 star hotel in the "mix" of Dubai's top destinations.

  I stayed at this hotel, and after 30 hour flight from the USA, there was no hot water. I went to bed assuming that in the morning there would be hot water. There was still only cold water the next morning. I complained to the front desk and went to breakfast. When I returned to the room, the entire bathroom was covered in water and muddy footprints. I called the front desk, and they informed me that maintainance assured them that there was hot water. I invited them to come and show me, they declined. When I checked out, I complained and requested a discount. The manager laughed and said there would be no discount possible.
  The view from the room was a workers camp and wash area at a construction site.
  Buyer beware, if you like ice-cold showers after round-the-world flights, I reccomend this overpriced hotel.
  I am extremely dissapointed with the hotel, the staff and the treatment I received from Holiday Inn Express.
